Overview of Granting Process<\/h2>\n

ICADV administers approximately $10 million in federal Victims of Crime Act and Violence Against Women Act funds each year. These are federal funds that flow to the\u00a0Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority<\/a>\u00a0(ICJIA) from the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). ICJIA contracts with ICADV to administer a portion of those funds for the provision of services to victims of domestic violence and their children.<\/p>\n

ICADV funds approximately 50 domestic violence agencies located throughout Illinois each year to provide the following types of services:<\/h3>\n
