Visit our Education Site for upcoming in person training and live webinar opportunities hosted by the ICADV Training Institute. Registration for individual events typically opens approximately six to eight weeks prior to the event.
All registrations for training events are received through the ICADV online registration site. If you are using this registration site for the first time please Create a New Account before you try to register for the training or webinar. Remember to record your user name, password and security question answer in a safe place. Once you submit your request to create a new account, it will take up to two hours to activate your account before you are eligible to register for a specific training or webinar. Accounts are activated during regular ICADV business hours. Please note if you create your account after regular business hours, activation will take place on the next regular business day.

The Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence is currently working on the expansion of online training opportunities. Currently we offer several online training modules.
The Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) is now offering a series of web-based courses featuring domestic violence topics that in part meet the 40 hour domestic violence training requirement needed for most domestic violence advocates who work in a full service domestic violence program.
This foundation training includes five separate modules listed below. ICADV is accredited through the Illinois State Board of Regulations to provide four continuing education units for LCPC’s and LCSW’s for each module upon completion.
MODULE A - Foundations of Domestic Violence
MODULE B - Advocacy for Domestic Violence Victims
MODULE C - Children’s Issues; Cultural Competency
MODULE D - Domestic Violence Victims with Complex issues
MODULE E - Legal Issues; Making Referrals; Domestic Violence Certification
