SUPPORT THE WORK OF ICADV!
ICADV challenges domestic violence agencies, other professional systems and individuals to ask themselves “will this decision keep battered women and their children, and men who are battered, safer, and help provide them more resources they need to live a safer life?”. We do this by providing training, technical assistance, and advocacy to help individuals and organizations better understand the dynamics of domestic violence, how their work impacts survivors and their children every day, and strategies for improving their responses to domestic violence victims.
SUPPORT THE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FUND FOR SURVIVORS
ICADV has recently established an Emergency Assistance Fund For Survivors. Often times a major barrier to a survivor achieving safety is limited access to money to pay for one time expenses such as deposits for rent or utilities or transportation expenses for an escape from an abusive situation. These funds will be made accessible to survivors seeking service from an ICADV Program Council member agency and will be granted based on availability of funds and application demonstrating need.
